Big news Canada, generic semaglutide is now here

Generic versions of Semaglutide, the medicinal ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®, are now in Canada.

When the first generics arrive, the cost of semaglutide medications is expected to drop significantly, with further reductions as more generics enter the market. Brand-name prices are also likely to come down as competition increases.
